PTM closed on a $7.6 million preferred equity investment in a 674-bed luxury student housing project at Florida State University in August 2024 alongside Canyon Partners Real Estate.

The Sponsors, 908 Group and Portman Residential, are Institutional student-housing developers. 908 Group has extensive experience at Florida State University, having developed 2,349 beds across five previous projects, and has designed The Hall to feature top of market amenities and finishes based on best practices learned.  The Project is located on the far eastern side of College Town and across the street from Legacy Hall, FSU’s brand-new business school, which will welcome approximately 6,800 students (comprised of roughly 90% undergraduate students) in the fall of 2025 and has the capacity to grow to 7,500 students
